Where we work

The operations of Practical Action in Sri Lanka is spread across mainly in the southern, eastern, western, north western, parts of the country.

Historically, the Sri Lankan office also managed projects in Kalahandi, Koraput, Ganjan, Nayagarh, Puri and Bubaneswar in Orissa state in India and Thal and Muzaffarabad in Pakistan.

Practical Action's regional office for South Asia is now based in Nepal, and projects in Sri Lanka are now managed from the South Asia office.


Practical Action is an active member of many national and regional networks through which exchange of knowledge and advocating based on action research are carried out. Some of the existing networks are:
