Climate change is happening now

Climate change affects everyone, but its effects are felt most by the world’s poorest and most marginalised communities - for example, drought-prone sub-Saharan Africa, or in areas such as floodplains or unstable hillsides in Latin America and south-east Asia.

Here at Practical Action, we work in partnership with these very communities across the world, to help them become more resilient and prepared when natural disasters strike and to protect the world around them.

Find out how communities in Sudan are helping to fight climate change with community forests.
